Both the words and images in this book are stunning. It’s a raw and honest story of surviving and thriving in the face of trauma and other challenges.

I was sick today. I haven’t been sick in a long time, but today I stayed quiet and devoured Erin’s book. The lushness in images and colors, the richness of her words, her open and at times bleeding heart are all there. It is raw and honest and deep. It will become a beacon for many women and men, too, who struggle with their own lives to overcome the sometimes unbearable pain of living.

I have three prints of hers, one is the cover of this remarkable book. I also have a painting that I bought a year or so ago before I really knew anything about her. I just knew that her art speaks to me and that I had to have this particular piece in my life. I look at it every day. And now, after reading her story, it resonates even more. I love you dearly, Erin, and admire you tremendously. You are truly a brave soul, a wild soul, a soul of wonderment.

Erin Faith Allen has written a memoir that is impossible to put down and impossible NOT to be inspired by.
I found so much of myself in her story that I had to get on the phone and read parts of it to my close friends.
This book is exactly what I needed to help me explore my own dark spaces. I want to peal my own layers back. I want to be heard and I want to show up. I am thrilled to start finding my own voice.
This beautiful book is not just intimate and relatable, its a work of art. You will want to keep it out to look at over and over.
This is a book you will want to buy and give as a gift to your best friend because you won’t be able to part with your copy!

Erin’s pictorial of her life’s story is a beautiful gift to the world. I feel blessed to own a copy and even more so to have it while being enrolled is Metamoph: Mixed Media Art School with her at the same time. This book is both guttural and beautiful as is the course. Thank you, Erin for trusting us with your story, I feel blessed to own a copy.

    :

My book has arrived and it is more beautiful than I imagined. I was delighted that a photo of the first Erin painting I ever saw is included within the pages but there is so much more within the book. Erin you have been so brave, diving so deep within your soul. I feel you are an old soul to have reached this point so young. I thank you for your honesty, you are such an inspiration. Thank you, you brave but ever sensitive warrior.

    :

This book is so much more than an autobiography, or a collection of stories and pictures. It is a deeply moving, beautiful account of what it means to be human. The joys and struggles of one woman’s life that are mirrored in so many lives around the world, and are the reason that so many people connect so deeply with Erin’s voice. You are a brave, strong, beautiful woman Erin, thank you for this gift of a book.
