With over a decade of experience, Erin has brought answers to hundreds of families through deeply investigative archival and on the ground research. She provides insight and perspective, and honors the process of generational healing and closure.

Passionate about educating families and connecting them with the facts about the service and war experience of their loved one, Erin leaves no stone unturned while breathing life into history through detailed, insightful, and inspiring historical research projects, helping families create books about their veteran’s service, and her documentary films.

Even if your veteran or family member has never talked about the war, or if you have been told your veteran’s file burned in the National Archives 1973 fire, the answers to your questions exist. Erin will find those answers through her penetrative and tenacious approach to investigative research.

Stories of War

Erin founded Stories of War in 2023 to continue her passion for breathing life into history through her love of filmmaking. Later in the year, she was a recipient of the Womens Net Amber Grant for Women. As a result of this generous grant, she has been able to develop several projects and is looking forward to their release.

Stories of War, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization on a mission to honor the individual stories of those impacted by the multi-faceted legacy of war. Code Name: Baker Catcher

Erin is an editor and historical consultant of this heartwarming story of WWII through one man’s eyes. 1LT Jack E. Westbrook wrote his memories of serving on the frontlines through France and Germany with the Anti-Tank Company, 222nd Infantry Regiment, 42nd ‘Rainbow’ Division.

At the request of his children, Jack penned his memories which were later edited by his daughter. His story begins with officer training school and ends with his return home to Texas from his participation in the Occupation of Austria after the end of the war.

His account will fill you with stories you’ve never heard before. Sometimes you will laugh, but most of all you will be filled with awe as you experience through Jack’s eyes what life was like on the front lines. Jack wasn’t a colonel, general, or important political bigwig. He was like you. And this is his story: the human side of World War II.

The Rainbow Division in WWII

It all began in 2018 with one veteran and one story, and Erin’s vision and determination to learn about the men of his company, man by man … and has become hundreds of stories, thousands of photographs, and tens of thousands of archival documents.

One by one, the stories of the men who served in a company of the 222 Infantry Regiment, 42nd ‘Rainbow’ Division will be told through films, artwork, and stories.

Head over to Erin’s blog to follow along on her devotion to the stories of these men and their war … and learn all about them through her eyes.
